The Potato Shed is a thriving hub of arts activity on the beautiful Bellarine and just 20 minutes from the Geelong CBD. Boasting a full range of professional and local theatre, dance, music and art activities for residents and visitors alike. From burlesque to ballet, Shakespeare to Sondheim, punk to pop, you will always find something of interest at the” Shed”.
Regular season events include a very strong professional theatre touring element, live music and international artist concerts, The Bellarine North Film Festival, the popular Winter Solstice, one act plays, great fun school holiday pantomimes, along with a fantastic Morning Showtime series. Every October there is a range of Seniors Festival events, Children’s Week workshops and a great big free family fun day.
The Potato Shed is operated by the City of Greater Geelong and is an ideal venue for classes and workshops, dance, drama, cinema, performances, multi-arts festivals, art exhibitions, outdoor events, meetings and conferences.
