The Queensland Transport Museum is currently displaying a large private collection of Military Vehicles. The display includes a Mark 5 F5 6x6 International Acco Recovery Vehicle, an M4 Diamond T Half-Track with Gunner, Mark 1 & Mark 2 Ferret Scout cars and a 6x6 Blitz and many more. They
The museum is home to a magnificent display of transport vehicles, from the Volvo Globetrotter cabover to the original Mack Furniture truck. There are display cabinets brimming with models, and even a fire engine and crop-dusting plane.
Transport enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy discovering vehicles of different shapes and sizes, makes and models.
Also on display in the museum is the History of Western Maranoa Transport, which is a tribute to JC (Cyril) Anderson, his brother MJR (Curly) Anderson and also the men and women who worked for this renowned company. Past employees are recognised with name plaques on the Western Wall.
Museum exhibits are ever-changing and each new visit takes you on a new adventure.
