Shelly Beach has a rocky shoreline with a rock pool for swimming. While they are not patrolled by lifeguards, it is a great option for parents with younger children. The area is easily accessed by prams and people with disability. There is a large grassed area, barbecues for public use, and a fenced playground (with a liberty swing for children with disability). Across the road from the park is a kiosk and cafe. The park and beach are popular locations for wedding ceremonies and wedding photography.
