Hawkesbury Regional Museum is located in one of the country's oldest settlements - the third on mainland Australia after Sydney and Parramatta. The Museum also provides visitor information and services.
This is an award-winning museum, designed to provide optimal conditions for the display of objects and the comfort and convenience of visitors. Also on site is Howe House, an historic house that has been fitted out with furnishings and displays that reflect its many uses over more than 200 years of history. The house is open for inspection at 11am and 2pm on weekends, and during the week for booked groups.
