Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios is a not-for-profit gallery and arts centre that is self funded and managed by Centrehouse Inc. with grant assistance from Lane Cove Council. Centrehouse is a community arts organisation that has been operating art, language and cultural courses, classes, facilities and programs for over 45 years. It presents a diverse range of exhibitions, with a new focus on contemporary and experimental practice.
In June 2018, the new Creative Studios facility comprising Painting/Drawing, Textiles, Printmaking and Ceramics studio spaces was launched. Co-located in the same building as the gallery, it also offers three artist studio spaces for hire as well as residency programs.
The rebranded arts centre runs a rich variety of term classes, workshops and masterclasses across the disciplines of painting (mixed-media, acrylic and water colour), drawing, life-drawing, textiles (printing, embroidery, sewing, knitting, stitching), printmaking and ceramics.
They are directly opposite the Lane Cove Library on Longueville Road, just a 10 minute bus ride from Sydney CBD.
