The permanent and temporary exhibitions are ideal for families or individuals looking to understand Australia’s unique culture – particularly focused on creativity and design. There are several permanent exhibitions in the Powerhouse Museum complemented by changing temporary exhibitions and displays. There are regular tours and demonstrations, performances, workshops, forums and other special events held throughout the Museum. Some tours are available for free and others require a small fee. The Powerhouse Museum is accessible by Light rail (Paddy’s Market stop), bus or train to Central Station followed by a lovely walk along the historic Goods Line. The Powerhouse Museum is also a short walk from the ICC Sydney.
