Whether it’s a quick stop at the bar after work, a long lunch with colleagues or a celebratory dinner, they'll make it an occasion to remember. Choose from their menu of classic pub dishes, settle back with your favourite drop and let their team take care of you. Lamaro's Hotel is proud to call South Melbourne home. A truly local pub, nestled on Cecil Street, Lamaro’s Hotel has a long history in the area. Their doors first opened in the 1850s and we’re delighted to still be serving the community today. Proprietor Paul Dimattina will welcome you with a warm greeting and a friendly smile when you walk in the door. Paul’s team of experienced, energetic, knowledgeable and friendly staff will ensure your visit will be memorable and have you wanting to return for more. Executive chef and part owner Geoff Lindsay has crafted a menu to suit the opulent surrounds of the venue. The modern Australian cuisine is perfectly executed with a wonderful array of quality steaks, the freshest seafood and some of Geoff’s classic dishes from his days at Pearl and from his training under Stephanie Alexander and Andrew Blake.
