Ever since the first stage of the foreshore revitalisation was completed in summer 2019, the Rockingham Foreshore has never looked better. Crowds have flocked to it welcoming the improved facilities and revisiting the city’s unique foreshore environment all over again. The precinct has been transformed into a high-quality space for both residents and visitors to enjoy. It’s the ideal destination to stroll along the seaside, have a family picnic, take the family for a spin on the bicycles or just take a date for dinner under the stars. You can even make use of the barbecue facilities in Bell Park and Churchill Park. With a new grassed amphitheatre facing the beach, a lookout point and an expanded boardwalk with terracing to the sand, it's the perfect space for the city’s numerous foreshore events and fairs.
