Purple Noon Gallery is set in the Hawkesbury region at the foot of the Blue Mountains. The contemporary gallery opened in November 2006 and has steadily developed into one of the finest galleries in regional New South Wales and Western Sydney with regular exhibitions and a permanent collection of both local art and sculpture, with a strong focus on artwork from leading, emerging, and Indigenous artists from around Australia.
The building was purpose built and has a special ambience that is warm and inviting and perfect for displaying a wide collection of fine artwork. The sparrow-picked sandstone walls, old timbers, leadlight windows and corrugated iron compliment each other to create a building that is aesthetically pleasing and perfect for displaying beautiful artwork.
The gallery represents exciting new and established artists from the Hawkesbury region and around Australia. An extensive exhibition program is held each year featuring both solo and mixed shows.
