Kerrie Lowe Gallery features a range of contemporary ceramics from hand crafted tableware to porcelain lamps and intricate sculpture. The gallery specialises in clay work but also features paintings, prints, jewellery and sculpture. Located on Newtown's King Street near Sydney University, the gallery is the only inner-city outlet for ceramic supplies for the benefit of professional clay workers, students and children alike. Features of the annual schedule are the Mardi Gras exhibition, the Sydney Teapot Show and exhibitions featuring Woodfired Ceramics, Porcelain, Tableware, Printed Ceramics and a showcase of work by Ceramics Students from TAFEs and Universities in Sydney. Visit the Gallery for the opportunity to see work from the close knit Australian Ceramics Community; a fascinating array of imaginative examples of what can be done with clay.
