The Parramatta Art Society was established in 1951. The Hunter Street Gallery of Fine Arts is proud to present exquisite artworks from local artists. The gallery is set in a spacious delightful studio that is easily accessed by those less mobile. Their collection is varied in theme, modern and contemporary, aboriginal and traditional. The artwork is changed on a regular basis, therefore offering a vast choice of art throughout the year. The artwork sells between AUD30 and AUD5000, on occasion exceeding AUD10000. Their artists are extremely accomplished and are honoured to present their experiences through their expressive creativity. There is something for everyone. They are especially fortunate to be located close to the beautiful Parramatta Park, cafes and parking. They also offer classes, demonstrations and workshops at an affordable cost. Their teachers are of a high calibre and are prominent in the art arena. Admission is free, they are open for viewing Wednesday to Sunday. Due to current health advice on social distancing, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.
