Located just over Belmore bridge in the chocolate box village of Lorn, you’ll find The Icky Sticky Patisserie a local’s secret where you'll find the most irresistible displays of decadent sweet treats imaginable. Pastry chefs’ Philip and Jessica are absolutely passionate about bringing a hand crafted, artisan approach back to the world of fine pastries. Originally from Melbourne, they travelled Europe and Asia extensively, in pursuit of sweet perfection, before settling on the vibrant village of Lorn to bring their business vision to life. The duo love working with fresh local ingredients but will search far and wide to find what they need to achieve just the right flavour and texture for their exquisite creations. Foodies frequently travel for a taste of Icky Sticky brilliance, like the glossy chocolate raspberry mousse bomb, the orange syrup cake with fig, pistachio, rose petals and cream cheese frosting, a winter sponge bursting with apple and cinnamon cream patisserie, a winter coconut cheesecake with blueberry centre and cardamom white chocolate glaze or the panna cotta, strawberry and rose water cream tarts to name a few. It’s not uncommon on a Saturday morning to see a queue stretching out the front door which of course is a testament to what’s on offer. The only problem you’ll have here is deciding which treat to choose (that's if you can choose one).
