Tilligerry Habitat is an advanced Eco-tourism nine hectare crown reserve in Tanilba Bay on the foreshore of beautiful Port Stephens. Tilligerry Habitat showcases koalas and wildlife habitat as well as a native nursery. Visitors are welcomed in the information centre which is an eco-friendly straw bale building, where interactive displays and a souvenir shop are located. Local natives and garden plants are for sale from the onsite nursery.
There is a wide range of scenic forest, scrub, wetland and coastal environments accessed by a network of paths and boardwalks. An easy two kilometre walk on flat gravel paths and boardwalks will afford the visitor the opportunity to see native plants, birds and possibly even a koala in the wild.
