Poatina Golf Course is a nine-hole 18 tee course with beautiful mountain views, located in Northern Tasmania. The 18 tees add variety, and the small raised greens make this relatively short course a golfing challenge. The 6th hole (a 389 metre par 4) requires a long accurate drive and long second shot to a small green set atop the sloping fairway. Nestled beneath the Western Tiers mountain range the course provides tranquil views of the mountains and surrounding farmland. Visitors are welcome and barbecue facilities are available. Poatina is approximately a 50-minute drive (59 kilometres) from Launceston.
