This is your opportunity to taste-test the many products of Tasmania's RhuBru; a company focussed on value adding nature's grade rhubarb stalks harvested from the fertile volcanic soils of Tassie's North East. The House of Rhubarb is a small shop front, established to encourage those who are visiting Scottsdale to sample the rather unique, award winning rhubarb based products made right there in the town from produce grown just down the road at one of the southern hemisphere's largest rhubarb farms. Taste the relish, jams, syrups, cordials - all based on rhubarb - you can even get a bunch of fresh rhubarb from the home garden. Holger and Jan welcome you to Cafe Rhubaba - the home of the House of Rhubarb and invite you to call in, have a taste and a chat about a business that is decidedly focussed on producing quality Tasmanian condiments by utilising perfectly good stalks that are just not quite beautiful enough for the fresh stalks market - it's nature's grade!
