Founded in 1840, Sandalford Wines’ Swan Valley estate is home to one of Australia's oldest, largest and most prestigious privately owned wineries. It is only 20 minutes from Perth city and is Western Australia’s most awarded attraction having won over 60 major state and national awards including the 2017 Australian Tourism Award – Gold, and 2018 Australian Tourism Award – Silver.
As well as being reknown for its award-winning Margaret River wines produced from the family’s Wilyabrup estate, Sandalford offers excellent tourism and hospitality facilities including a multi-award winning a-la-carte restaurant that features alfresco dining under 175 year old vines. The estate has a number of stylish wedding and function facilities and regularly hosts outdoor concerts, festivals and events. Wine appreciation and blending classes are popular, and the cellar door offers wine tasting and sales of current and vintage wines plus a magnificent selection of giftware and merchandise. Guests can book in a range of tours including the Sandalford Experience - a 75 minute tour of the Swan Valley winery.
