Rufus King Seafoods have been spoiling ‘straddie’ goers and locals for over 30 years, supplying the freshest quality seafood North Stradbroke Island has to offer.
Located in the quaint fishing village of Amity Point, the north west tip of the island, they’re just minutes from the Amity Point jetty where the local trawlers moor. This gives them access to the freshest seafood the area has to offer and has led to their credible reputation for quality seafood.
The local catch they offer includes king prawns (cooked and green headless), balmain bugs, sand crabs, shell oysters, sea mullet, whiting, tailor, school and Spanish mackerel, bream, snapper and flathead. All of which is subject to availability and season. They specialise in local seafood, however they do source market products such as fish, squid, mussels and scallops to supplement their local supply.
