The Beresford Foreshore is one of Geraldton's newest open spaces and attracts thousands of visitors. The stretch hugs the coastline with barbecue facilities, spots to sit and enjoy the view, first-class amenities, grassed areas, bowls for dogs to drink water out of as well as a playground that resembles a pirate scene.
Beresford Foreshore is also home to Lucy Humphrey's Horizon, which has won a number of Sculptures by the Sea accolades. The 1.5-metre sphere turns the world upside down and has quickly become a community favourite with hundreds snapping their photos and posting online.
