Hahndorfs Fine Chocolates Geelong is a combined chocolate shop and cafe. There is a large range of chocolates including gift boxes and hampers, gift vouchers, truffles and creams along with blocks, bars, coated chocolates with assorted flavours and novelties. We have over 80 varieties and also offer hot and cold drinks, sweet and savoury food along with indulgent desserts. Hahnsdorf's specialise in hot and iced chocolates made with milk, dark or white couverture chocolate. Inspired and educated by German chocolatiers Manfred and Erica Kolberg, Hahndorf’s opened the first store in late 2001. North Balwyn, seven kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, was selected as the perfect location. The North Balwyn store was the first in Melbourne to offer a café style chocolate shop producing chocolate so that customers could relax, enjoy a coffee, hot chocolate, milkshake and cakes while sampling the chocolates. Over time Hahndorf’s have stuck to their initial concept and increased production and the range to suit their customers’ tastes. Due to the increase in demand from customers, Hahndorf’s opened a second factory in 2004, at the base of the Dandenong Ranges just outside Melbourne, to produce over 80 products that make up the Hahndorf’s range. As a result of the success of the initial store, further shops opened across Melbourne and Geelong.
