Lara Sporting Club

The Lara Sporting Club was founded in 1975 and has been the sporting and social hub for the families of Lara throughout that time. It has grown from a small country club into one of the largest clubs in the Geelong region not only catering for four sports; baseball, cricket, football and netball, but also providing a hospitality and functions facility. Situated with a clear view of the famous You Yangs national park, the Lara Sporting Club offers lunch and dinner services Wednesday through to Sunday with daily specials. With just a short five-minute drive to the You Yangs walking and bike tracks, they offer a close-by and convenient stop over for a bite to eat and to wash it down with some of the cheapest beverages in the Geelong region. All of Lara Sporting CLub's profits go back into the community helping to fund local and northern Geelong groups as well as junior and senior sports.
