Blairgowrie Pier is located just out of the seaside town of Blairgowrie adjacent to the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron. It is a popular long pier (approximately 280 metres long) great for recreational scuba diving and snorkelling with relatively shallow waters with more than a hundred species of nudibranch identified and colourful sponges along the pier structure.
The pier leads to the marina and is a safe boat harbour. Parking is available from the car park off Point Nepean Road, with a steep set of steps leading down to the pier. Limited parking is available at the lower car park near the yacht squadron.
Geelong Helicopters operates scenic flights daily from the Geelong Waterfront on the Yarra Street Pier and also by appointment from Barwon Heads Airport.
