Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club is situated on the main beach at Ocean Grove, Victoria. The township is a very popular tourist resort. Due to its close proximity to the major cities of Geelong and Melbourne, and the tourist mecca of the Great Ocean Road, Ocean Grove's population swells in summer.
The complex was rebuilt in 2019. The new clubrooms are a dynamic hub where the community and business sectors can hold conferences, meetings and other events. Members and guests can enjoy magnificent views and a welcoming environment in the upstairs area that can seat up to 100 people.
The primary function of OGSLSC is to provide a safe beach environment for swimmers, surfers and beachgoers. The Club has provided a continuous patrolled presence since 1953.
Visitors are welcome to book a tour guide accompanied by one of their Lifesavers. The tour is fun, interactive and informative. Spend time with a true blue lifesaver and learn about the history of Ocean Grove and how surf lifesaving began.
Take an exclusive tour inside one of Victoria's largest Surf Life Saving Clubs and enjoy the opportunity to have your photo taken with your Ocean Grove lifesaver and Surf rescue board.
