Friends of the Lobster Pot, operate from historic 'Lobster Pot' building under the name Barwon Estuary Heritage Centre. The centre is run by volunteers open during summer holidays and by prior booking during other times.
The centre is best described as an 'environmental interpretive group'. Friends of the Lobster Pot is managed under the Barwon Coast Committee for Management.
