Authentic and unpretentious, Tomo Japanese Inverloch is every local’s dinner recommendation.
The menu is extensive, with miso and seaweed salad starters, followed by a delectable range of dumplings, tempura dishes including soft shell crab, sword fish and black tiger prawns.
Mains range from touban tofu cooked in a traditional hot pot, to chicken marinated in mirin and soy or crispy skin duck fillet in teriyaki sauce. Meat dishes include Japanese tender pork belly; lamb cutlets in a sweet sauce of mirin, soy and sake; and eye fillet on a bed of wasabi mash.
