Over 21 years, Matthew’s Hansen’s ‘Fine Wine Appreciation’ course has attracted over 3,000 enrolments. A chef and wine connoisseur, Matthew specialises in educating everyone from beginners to connoisseurs in all things wine, offering everything from simple to complex tastings. Matthew’s unassuming charm is the key to his success, with his unique ability to engender sparkling confidence in all attendees through his quiet, welcoming and genuinely interested manner.
Fine Wine Appreciation is now on the Peninsula, with Matthew holding small and intimate classes in Red Hill at Nordie.
All Mathew’s classes feature high-end table wines and have a strong food component.
Most importantly Matthew is a completely independent wine educator, and is not affiliated with any specific wineries, wine merchant or makers: each and every wine featured in his courses are offered on merit alone.
