Just a stones throw away from the winery trail, Bass and Flinders Distillery invites you to visit Mornington Peninsula's first artisanal distillery founded in 2009. Bass and Flinders Distillery offers you an insight into how they make their small batch product range including award winning grape-based gins, spirits, brandy and liqueurs. A visit to the Cellar Door will allow you to see first hand how Bass and Flinders Distillery produce their vine to bottle products. Visitors are also welcome to participate in an informative tasting, sample a gin flight, or order a cocktail at the distillery's bar overlooking green pastures. Bass and Flinders Distillery also offers one of the most unique gin masterclass experiences in Australia where guests have the opportunity to create their very own bespoke gin. Participants can delve into the unique and wonderful world of gin production whilst tasting a range of gins. The class not only covers the long history behind gin, but guests will also have the opportunity to create a gin tailored specifically to their tastes by blending an array of botanicals that Bass and Flinders use in their own gin production. Gin Masterclasses are held at the distillery every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
