Kongwak Market is one in a million. A very friendly, quirky little market selling secondhand, vintage ,mid century wares and wears. The market has a splattering of the best fresh produce and craft from the area.
Set in the Valley of Peace surrounded by the glorious green hills of South Gippsland, a tiny town with a population of 193 that swells every Sunday.
Housed in two large converted barns - it is an all weather market, come rain, hail or shine. Outside you will find under cover stalls and a plant nursery too.
Why not come for lunch? Food include Malaysian prepared by Raj in Gomathy's Kitchen. There is a sausage sizzle, coffee and cakes and live music played by local and visiting artists.
Kongwak Market has been running for nearly 17 years. As well as all the great "stuff" for sale, it is the people who make the Kongwak Market. Reminiscent of a village square, many friendships have been formed, it’s fun, come.
Dogs on leads welcome.
