The first winery in the Clare Valley, established by Jesuits in 1851, Sevenhill Cellars is a serene and historic setting, where visitors can explore the winery museum and underground cellar, visit the stately St Aloysius’ Church and its crypt or take a tour of the surrounding vineyards, some of the oldest in the region. Weekday guided tours are available for $10 per person at 11am or collect a self-guided tour map from Sevenhill's cellar door, which is open seven days a week, 10am to 5pm. The award-winning cellar door offers a diverse range of wine styles, including whites, reds and fortified wines. Outside, park-like grounds provide the ideal picnic spot.
