Located in Rosa Brook, 12 minutes south of Margaret River town and nearby a collective of quaint, rustic cellar doors. The town is known for its down to earth spirit, which is reflected at Brown Hill Estate. The winery was established in 1995 by the Bailey Family who lived in the West Australian Goldfields for four generations before relocating to Margaret River. The name Brown Hill Estate draws from this family history. The winery has twice been named Small Producer of the Year by The West Australian Wine Guide (2009, 2010). Among the wines many accolades, the 2014 Perseverance Cabernet Merlot picked up an international award for Best in Show at the 2018 Decanter Wine Awards, one of only 50 awards given out globally. The Wines The vineyards gravelly produce small, intensely flavoured grapes which are nurtured into wines through traditional, boutique methods. All the fruit is grown on the estates vineyard, hand-picked and hand-sorted, with the finest level of attention to detail. Content provided in partnership with Localista.
