Centenary Gardens is a picturesque and peaceful haven in the heart of Bunbury. Stroll through the council gardens, laze under the shade of one of the beautiful trees or take a seat and enjoy the serenity . Visit the striking stone sculpture and water feature which was a gift to the community of Bunbury from the Bunbury Water Board. It is a large granite ball that can rotate in any direction at the slight touch of a hand thanks to a small amount of water passing underneath. It promotes water conservation as very little water is required to create this dramatic effect. Continue the walk through the gardens to Bunbury’s first public well which was dug over 100 years ago. The gardens were created in 1936 to commemorate the town’s centenary and are a perfect location to rejuvenate while exploring the charming coastal town of Bunbury. Bunbury is a two hour drive south of Perth and is the gateway to the Southwest wine country.
