A visit to the Dardanup Heritage Park provides a unique opportunity to witness one man’s passion for collecting and restoring vintage machinery. The extensive 6,500 square metre collection includes farming and industrial machinery such as tractors, horse drawn equipment, engines and bull dozers.
The creator of the park, Gary Brookes started restoring tractors as a hobby, before taking on the restoration of a range of other machinery and equipment. Much of the equipment dates back one hundred years or more. Every piece of equipment is still fully operational demonstrating the dedication Brookes made to the restoration of his collection.
Take a break during your visit to enjoy a delicious meal or snack at the tea rooms before completing your tour of the park. There is also a craft shop worth visiting, which offers a range of souvenirs and crafts for sale.
Dardanup Heritage Park is a leisurely 20 minute drive from Bunbury and two and a half hours drive south of Perth.
