High tea lovers are in for a treat at Dinmore Cottage, a quaint heritage house that has been lovingly converted into a tea house.
Surrounded by gardens – and with a plant nursery being developed - this is a special oasis in which to relax and forget about the busy world outside.
Owners Lindy and Rob Leavy have added a function room at the rear of the property that can host up to 60 people. This has proven popular for birthdays, baby showers and bus tours.
Bus groups can phone ahead from the Centenary Highway with an ETA and Lindy and her team can have Devonshire tea or even high tea ready on arrival.
Lindy’s beautiful high teas come in three different sizes and there is even a gluten-free offering. They are served in the various rooms of the vintage cottage which has been decorated in heritage style with fresh flowers on tables. There is a gift shop on site and a vintage caravan dispensing coffee to go.
The couple use locally roasted Somerset Coffee and a range of specialty teas.
Workshops are held throughout the year with a range of topics - check out their Facebook page for details.
