Located right next door to Springbrook National Park and the Purlingbrook Falls walking track, the Dancing Waters cafe has been established for approximately 25 years and has been consistently open seven days week.
The proprietor, Anastasia Theodore, who has been operating this establishment since late 2007, has incorporated her Naturopathic Experience to the menu providing a healthy selection of sweet and savoury foods to choose from including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free alternatives. A menu of tasty toasted sandwiches has been developed over the years and enjoyed by their patrons. Salads are popular in the summer months and are dressed with locally made Young's Already Famous Raspberry Vinegar dressing along with olive oil from Anastasia's mother's olive grove in Greece. Another favourite is Quesadillas, also drizzled in their exclusive olive oil.
A variety of feathered friends frequent the cafe and entertain their patrons. These birds are wild but have become accustomed to human interactions, some more than others especially those rainbow lorikeets, kookaburras and King parrots . They do not encourage patrons to feed the birds as inappropriate foods have devastating effects on their health.
Due to current health advice on social distancing, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.
