One of the newer additions to the historic Tahbilk Estate, the Tahbilk Cafe was opened to visitors in 2005. Overlooking Tahbilk's wetlands reserve, most visitors choose to sit on the sweeping outer deck and listen to the birds as they enjoy their favourite Tahbilk wine to the calming backdrop of native bushland and water vistas.
Not only is the Cafe in a beautifully tranquil location, it is also home to delicious food with an ever-changing seasonal menu on offer.
Priding itself on using locally sourced produce wherever possible, including foods lovingly grown and harvested from Tahbilk's own Homestead gardens as well as bush tucker from a dedicated patch established in 2009 to supplement the bounty that can be gathered from the wetlands reserve.
