Pyrenees Family Hotel is also known as the Parma Palace. Why? Well Margaret, the Parma Queen, makes a great Chicken Parmigiana. She cooks 12 different parmas, the size of a plate. Lamb Shanks are also popular from the full menu. Brett handles the drinks and pours a mean beer.
This family friendly hotel has three rooms for you to tuck into your meal. Or go outside to the Beer Garden. Bring your own blanket and sit under the Mulberry tree. Breathe in the country air.
It’s a pretty flash country pub that has six large modern clean bedrooms, two bathrooms and a guest lounge, all upstairs. Families love the room with the comfy queen bed and two single beds. Brekky is included.
Downstairs, you can go straight to the Pool Room and pop the jukebox on. A Friday night visit means you can enjoy Happy Hour, Jag Joker or even win the meat tray. Sit at the bar and listen to farmers exchange stories. Join in. When the bushfires threatened Lexton, locals came to the pub. It was built in 1845. ‘You can walk in alone and by the time you leave, you will have made a few friends’.
