View the history of paddle boats, the digital photographic images and watch new and old videos of activities held on the lake at the Lake Wendouree Museum.
The museum and paddle boat are operated by the volunteers of the Golden City Paddler Steamer Museum Society Inc. The Museum is open for specific showings like the forthcoming Photo Biennale or by request from the public, businesses or groups.
Enjoy a cruise on the Golden City Paddle Boat (a replica of the original Golden City Paddle Steamer). Enjoy the beautiful views, and bird life and listen to the history of the lake and the original paddle steamer, while relaxing to the beat of the paddles.
Operating most Sundays during the period November to April (weather permitting). Current 2019 Cruise prices are adults $15.00, seniors $12.00, children five and over $5.00 and children under five are free.
