Lowe Square in Howlong is the town's sporting and recreation hub.
In the cooler months, get front row seats and watch the local football and netball teams take on their neighbouring competitors.
During summer, why not have a game of cricket or visit the town swimming pool. All year round you can enjoy the local Pony Club, BMX park and tennis courts as well as the brand new full access playground with public toilets and barbecue area with plenty of space to enjoy a picnic.

A permanent public outdoor ping pong table has found itself fixed in the heart of Howlong for visitors' enjoyment. The fully wielded steel weather-proof table was provided by Federation Youth Council and was funded through the Youth Opportunities Program 2018.
For those travelling through town, the local dump point is also located within the Lowe Square reserve.
